Ummm Short Takes

AHHH I'm freaking out just a little bit over here. I submitted my app this morning, but reading over it now I see that on my Short Takes I left the word count at the end of each sentence.
It reads as "text here, 25" where 25 is the word count.

Will they think I'm crazy? Or is this not really a big deal? Actually, how big a deal are short takes, do we know?

You actually typed in the count at the end??? wow... lol.

I guess its no biggie, unless someone is bigoted against numbers... then you're in trouble :)

i dont think it would hurt too much, the only problem i could forsee is if any of them were over the word count it would draw attention. but even that probably wouldnt make a difference in their decision.

I think you might get rejected for failing to proofread your application right. Lol it's not biggie. They will realize what you did. Common app only checks the character limit anyway.

Is it a big deal that my short takes were in the character limit, but, after submitting it, I realized most were slightly over 25 words? Also, does it matter if my essay was 541 words?

^^^probably not, I highly doubt they’re going to count every single word.

Haha. I think it’s kind of cute and human . Like “My name is…State Your Name.”
