<p>I got an info request form from Columbia in the mail today. I'm kinda suspicious because I'm obviously going to be crushed by 99.9999999% of the applicants to Columbia. So I have a question...or two...</p>

<p>My Stats:
GPA: ~3.6
SAT: ~2200</p>

<p>Are they looking for someone to (obviously) reject so that they can appear selective (like WUStL) in USNews World Report's eyes or are they genuinely interested in me?</p>

<p>No, they're not genuinely interested in you because you got a mailing. Every college wants you to apply (not just WUSTL).</p>

<p>However, your stats aren't as bad as you think they are. Your SATs are above average.</p>
