deferred OOS 31 ACT 3.8 GPA

Rejected with 34 ACT, 4.0 UW, 4.6 W, and great EC’s. Do they reject people more than defer?

Accepted Out of State

ACCEPTED IN-STATE!! It says business as my major at the bottom of my decision letter, does this mean I got into the Kenan-Flagler School?

I was really nervous seeing everyone’s extremely high stats getting accepted oos… But I got accepted oos with a 32 ACT and 4.6 WGPA! I thought I had a stellar essay and outstanding EC so that probably helped, and I’m first gen.

@saraheliza862 well it doesn’t mention “defer” anywhere. I’d read the beginning statement that is, “I am very sorry to inform you that we are unable to offer…” I think now you might be able to grasp the rejection/deferral.

“After carefully considering your credentials, we have concluded that we must defer final action on your application until we have received your midyear grades and read the applications of our second-deadline candidates…”
Deferred OOS, okay then
