<p>i got an email saying that their extending the deadline until 11:59 tomorrow night. Does anyone know that this is definite for the common app and when is the deadline for transcript recommendations etc.?</p>
<p>Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I think I got the same e-mail. I just called their admissions office and I couldn’t speak to a real person because it’s only opened M-F, and their recording said the deadline was October 15th. I saw someone post a question about it on the admissions blog but with no response yet.
All that’s due for the deadline (whatever it is) is common app and the common app supplement that you submit electronically. Teacher recs, transcript, etc. can be sent in after the deadline. You can find more information on that on the latest post of the blog.

<p>Yeah, I also received that email, and although I have not received confirmation from their website on the blog, I do believe that it is correct.
All you need by the deadline (tomorrow) is to send your applications. Your trancript and recommendations can come later.</p>

<p>The UNC Admissions blog just confirmed it. I submitted yesterday at around 9:00 pm though.</p>
<p>I submitted my app a couple hours ago. I was glad for the extension; this is the first one I’ve submitted on the Common App.</p>
