UNC Mid-Year Grades not up to par Letter

I got accepted into UNC. This is my dream school. I submitted my mid-year grades a week ago. This is what they were:

Tennis - A+
Honors e-Commerce - A+
Med Sci I - C (This is pending though. I grade was misplaced and my teacher is in the process of changing this grade, should be a B)
AP Earth Science - C (year long)
AP Statistics - A (year long)

I know these grades are not up to par with what it was my previous years, which they stated in the letter. The Med Sci grade should become B within the next few weeks. I believe I will get an A in the 3 new classes I have this semester and in AP Stats. AP Earth science is the only class which I may end up with a C in the end, which I am 5pts away from a B. The worst case scenario is that I get two C's, which they already know about based on my mid-year grades. I am trying my best to keep my grades as high as they can, especially in AP Earth. I absolutely would be devastated to be denied admission now.

My questions is, what is the probability that they will deny my acceptance based on my grades? What can I do get my grades up (motivation?) Any personal stories related to this? Please, any help would be great.

I’m confused- they accepted you, then sent you a letter telling you that your mid-year grades were not up to par? What else did the letter say? Did they threaten to rescind your acceptance? I am not familiar with this scenario, though it could conceivably happen.

Exactly right. Accepted me, then sent me a letter saying my grades werent up to par and if I continue to perform poorly then they may revoke my acceptance when they receive my final transcript.

Then get those grades up. Simple as that and what exactly is Tennis as a class?

Just like dfire28 said, you really need to work hard to get your grades up. Although it is senior year, UNC-CH wants to see that you’re not just slacking off because you’re already accepted. Try to be motivated to keep your grades up…you’ve probably worked really hard in HS in order to be accpeted at UNC-CH; don’t throw it all away now!

Well… If they send you a letter that your grades are slipping, then the first thing I would think to do would be to try and get them up again. It’s a pretty simple solution; just commit to the hard work in the classroom that got you accepted to UNC in the first place.
