UNC, Notre Dame, Berkeley?

I'm currently a high school senior and recently I've been narrowing my list of schools I want to apply to; however, these
schools I know I will be putting applications in for:

UNC - Chapel Hill
Notre Dame
Berkeley

I'm currently in the top 20% of my class of 500, I believe I'm ranked 105 or 103.
My most recent ACT score was a 30, with a 12 on writing, 34 on Reading, 32 on English, 26 on Math and 30 on Science.
My cumulative GPA is 3.51 unweighted and 3.8 weighted.
I plan on majoring in Biology or Zoology and later going on to graduate school to become a Veterinarian.
I'm currently enrolled in AP Biology, AP Government, Honors English, and AP Spanish and received a 5 on the AP English Literature test and a 4 on the AP US History test last year.
I've been involved with Badminton for all four years of high school and will be on Varsity this year, I have been Team Captain of Badminton for two years, I'm a member of National Social Studies Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, National Honor Society, and National Spanish Honor Society. I'm involved in SAAD Club, Peer Leadership Program, Environmental Club, and Model UN.
I volunteer weekly at an Animal Shelter and at the local hospital.
I am out of state for all of these colleges.
I worked full time during the summer before Junior year and plan on getting a part time job for the duration of my senior year.

Thank you!

**What other colleges besides these listed have a sound biology or zoology program?

I also have a noticeable upward trend of grades from Junior to Senior year from taking a few honors Freshman and Sophomore year to increasing my work load with AP and Honors classes Junior year and furthermore increasing those numbers this year.

In terms of Biology program strength, the following are top-20. And they have plenty of other quality majors in case you change your mind:

U Michigan

UCLA

UW-Madison

U Washington

UCSD

UC-Davis

UCSF

There’s also a number of Ivies along with MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Chicago, Duke and WUSTL in the top 20. Not Notre Dame or UNC though.

I think all three colleges you asked about are reaches. My son had similar (slightly higher, actually) stats, and applied to UNC and Berkeley knowing they were reaches for him. He was rejected from both. I think Notre Dame has similar admissions standards. He got into UCSD and Davis from out-of-state, though.
