UNC vs. UVA for international student?

I am really considering these two schools (i’ve been accepted by the way), but I have no idea how to decide between the two.

1.UNC chapel hill’s student body consists of 80 something percent north carolina residents. I’ve heard that there are quite a few koreans in the school and in the state generally (im korean too, ) but wouldn’t the atmosphere maybe too north carolinean? In comparison UVA seems to have more diversity in terms of americans and international students (unless im mistaken, im not sure)

chapel hill is supposed to be a great college town (although im not sure what the definition of a college town actually is) and charlottesville(which UVA is in?) perhaps less so.

The area where UVA is in is supposed to be “slightly racist” (not my words by the way so please do not take offence). Is this in any way true? i mean you can’t avoid it anyway but still…

3.I plan on studying psychology and UVA seems to be able to go into the ranks while UNC doesn’t. But then again, especially for a subject like psychology, academic rankings are not that big of a deal or(and being an undergraduate as well)?

My opinion, UVa! :D

UVa ofcourse

UVa is fantastic. Nice campus. Very good reputation across the country.

UVA simply rocks!!! I will most likely go there this fall… you won’t regret this choice but well, it’s best for you to check it out all yourself! (hey! i’m Korean as well!)
