Has anyone heard anything yet?
@FutureActress7 my daughter has not heard yet
My daughter received an email to check her status and was admitted. Good luck everyone!
Congrats to @mcdaytx daughter!?
@FutureActress7 thank you! good luck to you!
I’m not sure if I am overreacting, but I went to my application page and saw that my residency declaration information was checked off, but I never turned that in. Is that a good sign at least??
It was also checked off on March 11th, but again, I never turned that info in…
No idea, @FutureActress7 as my D is in another school (D&P) but her status page ended up with multiple updates, over several days, with different dates way on the right side of the screen and a check-off box on the left (something like “document received” or something like that?). My guess was (and still is) the admissions folks were using the system to track paperwork in process.
So I would read it as something is happening and you are not forgotten.
@OrangeFish So the documents your daughter didn’t turn in were checked off anyway? Thank you! ? My fingers are crossed!!
@FutureActress7 – maybe you can get a screenshot of what you see on your status page and email it to your admission counselor? Then you could get word directly from the school that way.
(Just a thought.)
has anyone heard anything yet from 2/16
@ihatestuatlittle Nope. Nothing yet…
Interviewed 2/16. Still waiting . . .
Just got off the phone with Ms. Watson. She says that decisions for 2/16 applicants will go out next week…
Is there anyone from November who still hasn’t heard?
What do you all think they are looking for in an applicant? Does your interview matter more than your portfolio? Or would you say both are essential?
@FutureActress7 I think they both matter a great deal, but I think portfolio matter somewhat more so. Like they already have an idea of whether they want to admit you or not based on that portfolio, even before the interview.
@FutureActress7-- I hear the interview is most important. BTW, just curious… did you apply for both film & drama? Saw your posts on drama board.
@sassgirl Yes I applied for both. I share a passion for both theater and writing. Thanks guys!
@FutureActress7– oh that’s cool. It’s probably very hard to do both, and at least w this school— the wait seems endless!
