UNCSA E-Z Arts?

I have been checking my D's E-Z Arts page since she had her interview several weeks ago. Yesterday, next to the "Decision" line it said: Contact Admissions Office. She has not received any written notification from them regarding a decision, nor has there been an email. Anyone want to speculate what this means, or does anyone know?

My D came out of the interview thinking she wouldn't be accepted, so it won't be a shock if it's a no.

well the only thing I can say is if it says to “Contact Admissions Office” I might just go ahead and contact the admissions office.

She hasn’t decided if she wants to call them or just wait for some kind of mail/email. I had hoped someone might have seen it or knew what it could mean. Like I said, neither of us will be shocked with a rejection or waitlist.

It might not be an admissions notification. It might have to do with missing portions of her application. You should probably call the office ASAP.

Curiosity killed the cat, I guess. I’m pretty sure it isn’t missing materials because UNCSA won’t let a student audition/interview if the application/materials aren’t received by the day of the audition. Oh well…I guess I’ll let her decide what to do next.

We got that same message last April. I immediately called the Admissions office and was transferred around until Bob Beseda himself got on the phone with me. Basically the E-Z Arts message is a bogus message. No one I spoke to knew why I got the message. Not sure why it is generated but everyone I spoke to at the school said they inform candidates by mail.

It never hurts to call though - especially since you were given an opening. Find out any information you can. The UNCSA admissions people are the nicest to deal with.

Ahhh…thank you SouthernDramaMom. Yes, I will encourage her to call since we were “told” to contact admissions.

Well, she called Admisssions, who had no idea why the EZ Arts said “Contact Admissions.” The person she spoke with said to contact the admissions person for D&P. She emailed that guy this afternoon. Perhaps we will know something soon.
