I am trying to decide between these 3 schools. I am transferring in from a CC as a junior. I want to be able to get an internship. I would also like to attend a school with a laid back, friendly atmosphere. I want a little prestige in the college I go to, especially if I decide to go to graduate school. A decent music scene would also be much appreciated.
I guess im wondering which one of these 3 universities combine what im looking for the best?
If you want a laid-back and friendly atmosphere, then look no further than UNCW. Great music scene, a little bit of prestige as well. UNCW has everything you’re looking for and more, in addition to being only ten minutes from the beach!
I would say NC State my cousin goes there and she loves it. It’s located in Raleigh, NC which is not that far from Charlotte and offers a lot of opportunities. Everyone is very friendly and there are so many clubs and organizations that you can join. I am not to sure about UNCW or UNC Charlotte.
