This must be a common topic, but I can't think of the proper search terms to find a thread that answered my questions, so if anyone can please answer them.

Is going undecided increase my chances of admission?

Let's say I would like to take Aerospace Engineering, and I get accepted under Undecided(Not undeclared engineering). How hard is it to enter HSSEAS as an accepted student versus entering as a prospective undergraduate?

If anything, undecided decreases your chances of admission, because when you apply to it, you’re basically applying to each and every engineering major and you will only be accepted if you would have been accepted into any and all of the engineering majors. Make sense?

The most competitive majors are EE/CS, Mechanical, and Bioengineering. In comparison, aerospace should be a cinch to get into. I suggest you choose a specific major and apply to it.
