Undecided whether to apply or not... chances?

SAT 2s: 500 french 650 chem 660 us his 700 lit 710 math 1
GPA: 98.218 weighted
Courses: very difficult… ap chem, ap world, ap us, ap phys, ap lit, ap calc ab and all honors</p>

<p>ECs: music and theater (acapella, musicals, play, area all-state, etc.), cultural clubs (lots of Greek stuff since I’m Greek, sec of French club last yr, Chinese club), academic league, honor societies, student govt (del 9th and 12th, sec 10th, treas 11th), student organization, speech contests (placed very highly all 3 yrs i participated)</p>

<p>Volunteer: interview committee for prospective new teachers (invited by asst princ, i was the only girl), driving elderly and disabled for graduation last yr (invited by asst princ), Greek stuff like fundraisers and charity events, random things like recycling conventions</p>

<p>Athletics: on several soccer teams including a travel team (co-captain of school jv team 10th), track</p>

<p>From what I can see here, you have as good–if not better–chances than the average applicant.</p>

<p>Your paper stats are excellent. Barnard places a lot of weight on your essays and the content of your character, though, so if you apply you should really know why you want to go there.</p>
