Ok.. this is probably a really stupid question but, here goes. I really don't know what I want to major in. I'm in humec but I dont really think I want to stay. Next year, what classes should I take? I want to just explore, but suppose I wish to eventually transfer to Arts and Sciences. Don't you have to be enrolled in like 3 Arts and sciences classes to transfer? What should I do? Take classes that I think are interesting or take like a language, a math, and basic requirement stuff? I have like this big fear that when I eventually decide what I want to major in I wont be able to fulfill all the requirements in four years. Help! I'm clueless.

enter Humec and take some of their recommended classes. You might find that you really like it and will want to stay. There are many options available at HumEc, don't immediately discount them. You need something like 3 arts and sciences classes with decent grades in all of them in order to do an internal transfer. Some of your requirements for HumEc will likely be through arts and sciences so you can kill two birds with one stone there. Dont be concerned about not fillilng the requirements for graduation in 4 years, undeclared is the most popular major at Cornell so you certainly will not be alone. Worst comes to worst take some of the classes at a community college over the summer and transfer credit over so you can graduate on time.

3 seems like a lot. So whats the typical amount of classes one takes each semester

4-5........
