I am as undecided as you can get when it comes to college majors. I realize that there is no “calling” for some people and I have accepted that (or am trying to) but I have nothing to go on to help pick a major that is worth the struggles. I never really had a favorite subject in school I always just kind of went along with everything. I also don’t really know what my interests are. I’m a curious person and simultaneously see everything as a possibility and everything as not a possibility at the same time. So how did you decide what to major in and why? And what do you think could help someone who doesn’t know, figure it out? (I’m also about to be a sophomore in college so I need to figure it out, like, yesterday.)
Relax. It doesn’t actually matter all that much what you major in. You don’t have to do what you’re going to do with your life now.
Mymajors.com is a website that takes your interests and skills and tries to give you an idea of what you should major in. Helpful imo.
Electives and internships help. Take what sounds interesting, or what people say is interesting.
Best of luck! You’ll figure it out soon enough.
