sweet do u got the top 20 finance schools for ugrad business also?

I have a partial list for finance...

UPENN Wharton

NYU Stern

University of Michigan/Ross

?

CMU Tepper

I might have to apply to Indiana University as a transfer... they seem like they are getting better and better (and easier to get into compared to UIUC).

where can we find full lists for finance, accounting, ect. because I know some schools say they are 6th in this or that but it isn't in their book. Must we subscribe online?? Can we buy the bigger US news book(or just take a quick glance at it at a book store:D)?

IU is quickly becoming a breeding ground for finance. They are placing analyst at a very high rate. IU had more analyst the UMich last year.

They also have an "Investment Banking Workshop" and they place everyone in the club/group at an investment bank. But it looks very hard to get in, average GPA is 3.8 and I think you need a 3.5 to get in along with some work experience.

Yes, average GPA is a 3.8, and their resumes show you what you need to get an analyst position with a major bank. They all had summer internships with Merill Lynch and GS, etc.

I wonder if you can still get an analyst position with out being in the club.

Some do, but like 3 or 4 I believe.

if anyone can get the full finance list please post, i know a bunch of others would likely want to see that list also

Yes, I am one of them.

Mssales, actually it was a lot more than 3 or 4. I was talking to a current student and he said if you aren't in the Investment Banking Workshop, theres a finance club with an Investment Banking Seminar, which isn't as structured. Most of the kids from there also got bulge bracket analyst positions. I only see Kelley moving up the ladder as years go by. This is great for me considering by the time I graduate, its reputation will have skyrocketed. This kid said there was a newsletter that went out by the President of the Investment Banking Workshop that stated Kelley is 3rd behind Wharton and Harvard for its reputation on wallstreet by ibanking recruiters. This suprised me, but I can see how that makes sense. If Kelley was in NYC, they'd be close to Stern in rankings. Location plays a huge role.

If someone can find the rankings for specific majors, that'd be awesome. Kelley is 7th in Finance, I'd like to see who's ahead. Wharton and Stern take top 2.

UT Austin is 5th in Finance. :) That makes me feel better after getting rejected from Penn.

UT Austin McCombs is a really good business school...are you in-state? If so, its even better...SAVING SO MUCH $, screw penn. You'll also have a GREAT time there man.

bump...does anyone have the 2006 undergrad finance rankings from usnews?

I am instate. However finances don't matter since my family makes less than 50k and I would have gotten a full ride from Penn. However I'm just hoping for BHP.
