Undergrad in Architecture

Can anyone tell me what universities have the best undergrad in architecture? I know there are a lot of big name schools, but who has the best program?

You can search for posts on this, but a few that come to mind are Harvard, Cornell, Cal Poly SLO, and Cincinnati. What state are you in?

Cooper Union

Rice has a good program

I'm from california, but it doesn't really matter to me where the school is.

There is no such thing as a top architecture school for undergraduates. Architecture is a 5-year or 6-year professional program. If you quit after your bachelor degree, you will not be able to get certified.

The following informative site from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture should give you a good start:
<a href="http://architecture.about.com/gi/dy...ectASchool.html%5B/url%5D">http://architecture.about.com/gi/dy...ectASchool.html</a>
There is a section for high school students on how to prepare for a career in architecture.

There are quite a few architecture rankings around. You should be aware that they don't all agree...it depends on what kind of architecture training you prefer. Here's one from DesignIntelligence (<a href="http://architecture.about.com/gi/dy...icle%5B/url%5D">http://architecture.about.com/gi/dy...icle</a> _id%3D178)

These are the 2005 rankings from Design Intelligence (industry rankings)
