There's some possibility I will want to go down to med school down the line (or possibly law, grad, and/or business school lol...), although med school definitely isn't going to happen right from undergrad.

I'm looking at graduating from Yale University with a GPA in mid 3.8's to low 3.9 range. I expect to major in Economics or Ethics, Politics, and Economics. I had originally thought about majoring in Chemistry as a second major, but I recently realized that I'm probably not going to have time.

If I fulfill all the premed requirements, am I at a disadvantage if I choose not to major in a science for med school or does it not matter too much? I could switch my major to Chem only (I suppose), but I really like Econ....

[My guess is that my MCAT, my GPA, coming from a well recognized college, etc would matter more if I chose to apply to med school...]
