Does going to a certain university's undergrad program favor your chances in their med school? Does it matter to the Med Schools Admissions that you attended their undergrad program? For example...if you attend Michigan for undergrad and apply to Michigan for med school, does it help?

Some med schools give a slight advantage to applicants from the affiliated undergraduate school; others don't. (There's a thread in the Pre-med forum that was discussing this, if you want to go over there and take a look) I don't know about Michigan in particular though.

I was just saying Michigan as an example it was the first school off my head. I was just wondering in general.
