I am graduating in the Spring of 2011 with a degree in Management Accounting. The bind is that I want to go to Law School. When do you think the smartest time to take the LSAT and/or study for the CPA exam would be? How would you go by incorporating the two fields? Would you recommend a joint program of business and law? I have my own ideas, but I want to get other people's feedback in order to look at it from another perspective. My plan as of today is to begin a Kaplan course for the LSAT on 6/28/2010 until 8/09/2010 and continue studying until the October LSAT. Any advice and/or experiences would be GREATLY appreciated!!
i think you shouldve took the LSAT your junior year… but go for October if your confident, if not wait

I respect your opinion, but I need a little more than you shouldve taken it in October. What are you basing your response on? How have your experiences led you to believe this? Etc… It seems pretty negative to say that I shouldve taken it. I am looking for a material response, please. Thank you.

I hope that point that pierrechn was trying to make is this…

I guess if you are looking to apply in fall 2010, you will literally need to have your application complete ready to go when the October grades come out in order to be early in the cycle. You can submit early and just wait for the october grades in order to go complete.

Had you taken the June test, depending on your scores you may have been eligible for fee waivers that will be disbursed in july/august to use them in filing early. In addition some schools (Duke off of the top of my hear, has an early priority application that depending on your scores, you could have been invited to apply withthe possibilty of having an admission under your belt in September/October). Worse case scenario, if you were not happy with your june scores, you could have used the same time to study for October. If you are not happy with the october scores, applying after the December test is now considered “late” in the process.

well from what ive read on these boards, you should take the LSAT your junor year.

Read a few of the threads on this board, other people say the same thing.
