SAT: 690 W 720 R 770 M (2180)
I really want to get into UPenn Wharton. Will my SAT score drag me down if I manage to capture their interest with my supplementary essays (I’m a pretty strong writer, but I write crap under time-limited conditions…) and some econ-related ECs?
Basically, I want to know how much SAT I score matters. Thks! ^^

@hyacintho98 For a school like Wharton, they review the app in such detail that everything is very important. Your SAT score is very low below what they are looking for and unless you are a URM and have an amazing hook, I dont think you have a shot.

Debating on whether I should retake in September
I don’t know too much about these schools to give solid advice on them specifically, but your SAT is quite good so I think you stand a relatively decent chance, your high GPA helps, and your extra curriculars are pretty good. I think your good for some of these but some would be reaches, but I think with good essays you might have some good chances
