I'm decided on cs major and want to apply ED to JHU or Cornell
I didn't consider JHU at all before since I haven't seen its cs program in any rankings. But heard from friend that GRADUATE cs program's good at JHU. However, does that mean undergraduate JHU cs major's a good choice?

Also though BME is insanely competitive at JHU its computer science doesn't seem as competitive as that of Cornell's. So I think it might be easier to get in...i'm just not that confident to apply ED to Cornell and risk not getting into either school

Btw my sat's 2200 and sat II 2300 ,took some APs and was in a few club/activities. Do you think it's better ED JHU or Cornell?

Admission at JHU is not major specific -except for BME- so you won’t have to worry about that.
Comp Sci at JHU is decent, especially if you’re looking at Robotics or Computer Integrated Surgery applications or if you’re looking for research experience. It’s not MIT, Berkeley, or Carnegie Mellon but a CS degree from JHU should serve you well in grad school admissions and job hunts.

saif235 is correct with regard to majors. My personal experience is that CS at JHU is a tight-knit community that regularly gets students into 6-figure positions with just their Bachelor’s. I can’t speak to the strength of the program beyond having taken a handful of CS courses, but I think its effectiveness is illustrated quite clearly in the success of its alumni. I think it’s definitely a solid choice.
