Undergraduate Focus: How does Yale compare to Princeton?

I've done quite a bit of research on Princeton (obviously), but how does Yale compare to Princeton in the level of undergraduate focus? And how much does the large grad school presence affect the undergrad social environment?

Obviously Yale does have big grad schools, but I think they try very hard to cater to the undergrads as well. The impression I got was that students there are comfortable with the level of attention they get and feel that professors are accessible (and do teach the classes). I'm sure this is over-generalizing, but the thing that stood out to me about Yale was how much the students really enjoyed learning and wanted to work. More "intellectual curiosity" than Princeton I guess, lol.

Yes...I read elsewhere on CC today that Princeton students [in general, mind you] are less inclined to spend hours after class in "intellectual pursuits." That got me concerned. :)

I actually don't like the schools that overemphasize the "discussions about plato in the supermarket" but Yale students seem so happy whereas pton ones are kinda disillusioned...But in any case, it's what you want to get out of it; I'm sure if you wanted to have intellectual pursuits after class at pton, it wouldn't be hard at all.
