Undergraduate Major for Aspiring I/O Psychologist

I’d like to become an I/O (Industrial/Organizational) Psychologist. I may choose to work in Human Resources for a couple of years upon completing my degree before obtaining a Masters.

Would I be better off majoring in Psychology, minoring in International Business, or vice versa? I/O Psychology degrees are not offered at my school at the undergraduate level, nor is an HR degree.

I apologize if this question is posted in the wrong section as I’m new to CC.

Thank you!

Psych with a Statistics minor. I/0 is heavy measurement.

PhD is the terminal degree for organizational psychologists. You’re not a psychologist unless you have a PhD, although a master’s may help you get certain positions in the field. Major in psychology. Check the pre-requisites for several grad programs to see the undergrad preparation that’s required.
