Undergraduate Post-Baccalaureate Programs in Texas? Urgent Help

Hey Guys,

This is my first post in the SDForums, so please bear with me. This question is is in regards to my brother. He is in his "third year" at the University of Texas at Austin as a Biochemistry major and he is aspiring to be of course a Doctor. He is going to graduate in May of 2012 (we are hoping December of 2011), but he is not a Junior. He made some mistakes during his undergraduate schooling and so he is going to graduate one year (hopefully one semester) later than usual. Currently his GPA is around 2.9-3.2 roughly, last time I asked I believe he said it was roughly a 3.1 or so. This past year he has been working his tail off trying to raise his GPA and he realizes by the end of his undergraduate schooling the max he can get his GPA up to is roughly about 3.5 at best. He decided that he will need to go to a undergraduate Post-Bacc program to "boost" his undergraduate GPA. The dilemma is that he hasn't taken his MCATs yet and he wants to do so during his post-bacc schooling and my family and I were wondering if there are any schools that offer Post-Baccalaureate Undergraduate Health Program that doesn't require MCATS and also helps increase/counts for your Undergraduate GPA? I understand UT Dallas offers a program like that (<a href="http://www.utdallas.edu/pre-health/p.../post_bacc.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www.utdallas.edu/pre-health/p.../post_bacc.htm</a>). Are there any other schools like this? Any help is appreciated, this is really a tough time for the family and we just want the best for him.

Thank You
