<p>What does an undergraduate or even Masters student do in "research"? Is it just simply s lot of readings? </p>
<p>I went to go see the petroleum director to learn more about the field and he asked me if I was interested in research. I didn't want to sound stupid and ask him what exactly it would consist of. </p>
<p>Anyone do research as an undergrad (especially petroleum)?</p>
