<p>Hi, I'm a senior in high school and I'm thinking of attending a CSU instead of wasting the money that my parents don't have at A UC. So should I just go to a Csu and then transfer to a better college for my graduate degree or should I start off with a UC. Btw I want to be a doctor so what would be best as far as getting into a pre med program?</p>
<p>I’m in the same boat as you! I’m planning to go to University of Houston, mainly because I have a house there and its cheaper! My parents cant afford expensive colleges and I really don’t wanna take out loans in college (saving up for med school). From what I’ve heard, your undergraduate school doesn’t matter as much what you do in it! I’ve heard people from no name school get into top med schools! Now obviously, assuming everything else is the same, the applicant from Harvard or other IVY league institutions might be given more favor. But keep in mind, all applications are screened individually and no two applications are the same! I plan on going to Baylor College of Medicine and I’m also torn about my college decision! Any one else care to join!</p>
