Unidentified Beast found in Maine

I don't know what to think of this story- other than it gives me the creeps.

http://pressherald.mainetoday.com/news/state/060817beast.shtml

wow, that is really freaky. the "hybrid mutant" looks like a gorilla crossed with big foot. IMO.

its a freakin dog...

It probably IS a dog/wolf mix.

Well it wasnt me folks. I know some of you were worried.

Lol hoke.
Looks like one of those werewolf things in the horror movies.

It's an extremely ugly dog (I'm extremely afraid of large dogs, so I sure wouldn't want to meet up with that ugly thing)...but I don't get why there isn't a picture of its full body. Come on, now.

It had a human lowerbody. They didnt want to scare people.

the picture it had just looked like an ugly dog...

FoxNews has a full-body shot on this page.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,208683,00.html

Big...but scary..ugly dog!!1!!!

Looks like some sick toy.

The first article said it was only 40-50 pounds, though...and that's only twice the size of my Pug...so it's not that big...just ugly...with weird-looking teeth.

it's not even that strange looking.
It's just a dog with bad teeth...

meh, that Michelle O'Donnell looks scarier to me.

It said that in a similar case several years ago, DNA evidence identified a similar animal as a dog-wolf hybrid. This thing is probably the same.

it looks like a normal black dog to me.

it actually looks like sirius black dog.

I don't really think it looks that scary. It really isn't that big either... (I have a 115 lb dog).

I think the scariest part wasn't really the looks, but more the behavior. If it was wolfish that would explain the attacks.

Anyway, I think it does look like a normal dog (and yea a lot like Sirius).
