<p>@midhelper I’m in the Scholars Program (honors program basically) that requires us to take 4 classes a few terms during our time at Union in order to graduate as a Scholar.</p>
<p>@jjul15 what are you majoring in? Union is top on our list but we have no input as to the fairness of their science program. We just heard another school we were looking at tries to weed out 70% of its science students in the first 2 years which I think is awful. Have you done science courses at Union?</p>
<p>@Midhelp I’m a Biochemistry major on the pre-med track so I can say a lot about the science course here. I’ve taken Chem and Bio courses so far and I can tell you that they’re not courses designed to weed out 70% science majors. They’re challenging at times just because it is a college level science course but if you do the work you will be fine. Lots of kids decide to drop a science major but not because they were weeded out but because they discovered they didn’t want to actually major in the science, which is completely normal. So I wouldn’t worry about science courses weeding out students because that’s not what Union’s about.</p>
