Hi all,

I already written a similar post on the Brandeis board but wanted some of your opinions. I really love the campus and facilities at Union along with its really laid back atmosphere. I want to get a great education in the social sciences and go to law school after my undergrad years. I know Brandeis is good for those two things, but how does Union compare? Which one should I go to?

All your responses will be greatly appreciated.

i think Union is a better place to go if you like the laid back atmosphere. there is also a lot of differences between the campus aesthetics. Brandeis for one has one of the ugliest campuses, where as the Union campus is absolutely gorgeous. Also, both places are reputable and in the end you get the same degree you wanted in the first place. Union is strong in the social sciences as well, and the people there are friendly and accepting. I think you'll like your time there. Union is close to Albany, so you'll probably get better exposure to internships, etc.

union pwns brandeis. thanks.

Thanks balonce-noles for your response...I agree that Union was much more laid back and had good internship opportunities with Albany. If I had to point out one thing that I don't like, I would say the town of Schnectady. But how often do students go off campus? When I visited it seemed like there was enough to do on campus. Anyway, I guess my next question would be why you chose Union over other schools you applied to and what were your deciding factors in making that choice?
