Unique Programs at Colleges

<p>Hi, I'm a rising senior searching for colleges.
As I was on my search, I came to encounter unique (for me) programs like the Co-Op Programs at Northeastern University, Drexel University, RIT, etc., and language houses at Boston University and others.
And I was wondering about other unique opportunities that I haven't yet found out about.</p>

<p>Do you know any "cool" opportunities that you found out through college search or heard from people?
It can be anything like Co-Op and language house, or something related to studying abroad or volunteering abroad during colleges, just anything AWESOME!!</p>

<p>Or anything about international schools in Canada and why U.S. students choose to attend those colleges.</p>

<p>Why I posted this thread is to learn more about opportunities that's out there for colleges that I have never known about.
If you have a specific program or something at a specific college, can you note the college name too?</p>

<p>Champlain College has an “upside-down” curriculum. At most universities, you take your gen-ed courses first and then take the classes for your major. At Champlain, you take your major classes first and then your gen-eds so that you can make sure your major is for you. The only down-side is if you choose to transfer, none of your credits transfer. </p>
