Hello, have any of you guys taken this class? It is probably the hardest class I have taken and am wondering if anyone can help me with it, I am really struggling with a D in it. I will in return pay, or help you out in return with anything you need. Please PM me.

ummm ... how is someone going to help you with history? you just need to read and re-read all the material. it's mostly memorization, with a little analysis (assuming it's an intro level class).

yeah its just tough man, theres a lot of material

and how would one tutor you online? if your school has national honors society see if you can get them to tutor you.

bump (10 chars)

please help me.

With History you just need to read and then if necessary, re-read. If you're seeking background, Wikipedia is actually not a terrible source. For US I it would be helpful, since nothing you cover will be terribly in-depth.

thats what i thought also, but it is...and it sucks!

"I hate college", really?! Gosh man, relax.

Read your assignment before class and also outline it.

Take good notes and recopy them into outline form.

Consolidate your outline into one big mama outline.

Make a list of main "stuff" *

Using your list of main "stuff" as a guide, do the Cornell note taking method http://www.eleven21.com/notetaker/ for all of your main "stuff."

Organize your business in the following manner...

1 List of "stuff"

2 Big mama outlines

3 Cornell notes

...bind the papers together with whatever

Read everything over and over and just try your best. A good week before the test, make a master list of "stuff" and try to use it as a memory guide. Use it wisely and try to be able to have things memorized enough where you could explain everything on your list well. And, use your list to make a pre test of sorts where you just have your list and then you fill it out yourself.

I learned that from a book. The book is called: "The Immortal Words of Mildred" and it is available wherever fine paperbacks are sold.

Follow the dots, "I hate college"

* "stuff" in American History I would be: wars, people, places, and cultural advancements.

I am trying to make you laugh a bit, "I hate college" and I hope that you laughed a bit at my post but I also hope it helped you out a little.

ive tried, its just super in depth detailed questions..its not specific, the questions ask like what was the main idea, or what was the main result of something...it really makes it harder then a specific question.

you wanna read something cool on american history, that'll make you ENJOY the subject and be able to have some cool insights, read Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States 1492-Present it'll blow your mind.
