Univ of Chicago -- art, architecture, digital art & science, graphic design?

I am considering applying early decision to the University of Chicago this fall as a reach school, but...

I'm curious as to how much emphasis is placed into the (fine) arts, design, architecture, digital art and science, etc. as i will likely head into these fields.

my "safety" school, University of Florida, has huge colleges for the fine arts, architecture, a whole "digital worlds" institute, and other great smaller more unique programs.

i know that Univ. of Chicago would be great for stuff such as business, or the humanities, law, etc....but what about the areas that interest me??

bumpy bump

bbbbbbbump

U of C, as far as I know, does not have an architecture program. It's a really research oriented school and has a strong liking of the liberal arts (it's pretty obvious).

If it's art and design you're looking for, I think there are better places to look than U Chicago.
