<p>Speaking of the Marine Corp Museum, my uncle's artwork is proudly featured there:</p>

<p>My favorite is "Leaving Home" which shows my grandparents and other family. My dad wasn't in it because he was already gone...airborne in Europe.</p>

<p>God willing Spider gets the appointment, we hope to do a road trip to I-Day that includes the museum.</p>

<p>Frank Schaeffer's son graduated from a prestigious prep school and enlisted in the Marine Corps. Frank Schaeffer also wrote Faith of Our Sons and Keeping the Faith.</p>

<p>Kathy Roth-Douquet work in the Clinton Administration and married an active duty Marine officer.</p>

<p>My uncle died a few years ago but wow, was it fun to listen to those two guys talk about their war. Great stories.</p>
