I’m planning to major in Forensic Science and I have CSUEB, SJSU, and UCD in mind. Is anyone familiar with the FS programs at these schools? What are the programs like? I’ve looked online but I have yet to come across people who’ve been in these programs to read their opinions.
UCD’s program is a graduate program not an undergraduate program. I would compare the curriculum courses between CSUEB and SJSU and see if they are comparable. I have heard good opinions on SJSU’s program.
UCD has Chemistry Forensic emphasis as a bachelor program. I plan to get a bachelor in that and then apply to the graduate program
My mistake, I was not looking at the Chemistry major with the forensic emphasis. I would still try compare curriculums for each school to determine which would be the best choice academically. It looks like UCD only has the Chemistry Forensics emphasis while both CSUEB and SJUS offer a Biology Forensic Emphasis also. Here are some 4 year course plans or basic major information. I would apply to at least these 3 schools along with a few others so you have several options in the end.
