Universities with good Economic Undergrad

<p>I am looking to transfer with a GPA between 3.8-4.0 depending on how next semester turns out from a decent State University. I have a 2100 on the SAT and have not taken the ACT but am considering doing so in the future. I have decided during this semester to change my major to economics so I am looking for a school that offers a really good econ. program. </p>

<p>Any ideas? I know the ivies have really good programs and I will apply, but past that, I would like to find a non-state school that has a good program. Do they exist?</p>

<p>NYU is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Just look at the graduate econ ranks, that gives you a pretty good idea of what a good econ department is.</p>
