Hi, Im an international student living in the UK looking to get a scholarship (or not) for mens volleyball in the US. I am looking at: UCLA, George Mason, UCSB, Stanford and Princeton. I taking the IB and my grades are: English HL 6, History HL 6, Theatre Arts HL 6, Math SL 6, Norwegian Language B 7 and ESS 6/7. I have a lot of ETs, for example volleyball about 12 hours of volleyball a week, volunteering at the old home near me every weekend, project Nepal (where we go to Nepal for 2 weeks to help the people in need there), student council VP, Debate club and several other ETs. I am aiming for between 1900-2000 on my SAT. How are my chances? Any other advice? Thanks!
You will need significantly better test scores than that to get in to most of those schools.
Yeah I realise, however I have heard that your test scores do not need to be as good if you are coming in as an athlete, is this true?
Are you being recruited by these schools?
3 of them have shown interest in me, but as I am graduating in 2017 they have not committed to me.
