I’m really liking Buffalo. Has a great engineering program, higher ranked than Bing. Will have to really consider it.
still no response. Engineering major , applied the 15th. Anyone else still waiting?
@apexpman did you try emailing them? Ask for confirmation it is complete?
Daughter applied early Nov. Business major. 1260 SAT. 90 average. I called admissions to check application status. They told me they have application but havnt reviewed it yet. What’s the delay?
^Be patient
That does sound a little strange.
@1998parent15 I’ll shoot them an email today
@buffalo12 not sure what the delay is either. My stats are even higher (90 gpa, 1340 SAT, 9 AP’s) and still no notice save honors college stufd
@ApexPman i called them a couple of days ago and they said most letters are being sent out in january
@chi1998 do I have to be accepted before I apply honors college?
@ApexPman don’t think so. regular decision applicants apply to honors college but only get their acceptances to UB in april.
@lutherls when did your son receive his acceptance letter?
@ApexPman your stats are just like mine. The whole regular admissions vs honors college communication is out of order. I just received a letter thanking me for applying and it was dated Nov 18th! I think they just have huge piles and different departments are weeding through them all
all good, i got accepted today.
Good News Congrats
Congratulations!
@ApexPman did they notify you about scholarships in the letter?
I got accepted yesterday even though I did not apply early action and have received an email about applying to the honors college
