University at Buffalo (UB) or Stony Brook (SB)?

First and foremost, I've been accepted to both of these public universities. Since I'm a resident of the State of New York, they were good financial options.

I wanted to get some more information about the schools that weren't just marketing fluff from the universities themselves. So I tried to find actual information about the colleges from current students through blogs and forums. I found a UB forum operated by the University at Buffalo but the website was down at the time. I ended up finding two forums, http://members2.boardhost.com/stonybrooksucks/ and http://forums.thenoise.biz/ (It's an inside joke among UB students, apparently). I figured that I'd post them so that you'd be able to browse through them to see what these schools are all about.

Which leads me to my initial question. Which school would be a better option for me? I am going to be a pre-med student that'll probably major in physics or computer engineering. Thanks in advance.

I'd say SB has a better science program from what I heard(I got in there too). Personally, go with the school thats offering you the most cash for the first year. No matter what you will be taking GE classes freshman year.(Unless you have AP/college credits)
