Hi, I was thinking about taking Biology at night at Wash U's University college program this summer. Can anybody tell me if this is the same as the day courses, or easier?

I am just wondering about how much time this will take outside of class time. Would I be able to work and volunteer also this summer? Thanks.

It’s different to the normal bio course, and easier. And probably doesn’t take up too much time outside of class. If you want the actual classes, check Artsci classes in the summer (although general bio isn’t offered, they have several courses).

ok thanks. Best I can tell, Wash U is the only place in St. Louis where you can complete an entire year of coursework in the summer, starting mid June (after other schools on the quarter system end). They do offer two semesters of bio and chem in the summer.

I’ve checked STLCC, SLU, UMSL, Fontbonne, etc and either they start too early (before June 13th), or don’t offer an equivalent.

The quarter system is a nightmare. It interferes with everything in the summer - jobs, internships, taking courses elsewhere. I’m glad my university is getting off of it in 2012.
