<p>My D is a college sophomore with junior academic standing. She is a biology/theatre double major interested in medical school or grad school in biology. Any recommendations for summer programs, especially field study programs? She has identified several to apply to, but would like several more.</p>
<p>Also, does anyone know how to apply for federal internships for summer? I remember a parent posting about that some time ago on the old CC forum.</p>
<p>It just so happens I was trolling around the UW website last night and stumbled upon their summer bio program. They are looking for URM students but also students from LACs without full research facilities:</p>
<p>"Applications from students who are African American, Hispanic, Native American, Southeast Asian, Native Alaskan or Native Pacific Islander, OR who are of any ethnic background and attend a small liberal arts institution without broad research facilities are strongly encouraged to apply."</p>
<p>Plus, the website was very hard to find! </p>
