University Notre Dame REA-Eve?

I’m super nervous for tomorrow as well. I have a 4.2 W/3.85 UW at a top SoCal public school. 1520 SAT and some pretty solid ECs/Essays. I’m cautiously optimistic about it and I think I built a solid relationship with my admissions rep but it’s a tough school to get in to. Good luck!

@VegasRoller I’m curious as to anyone’s experience with whether going into EA with a full tuition ROTC scholarship helps in the admission process.
DD has a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship for Notre Dame. 1510 SAT, 33 ACT (34 super score but ND doesn’t super score the ACT). 4.0 GPA, top 10 percent of class, 4 yr varsity xc and track, Girls State, AP scholar with honor, 10 APs, lots of volunteer hours. Also waiting to hear EA from Georgetown next week.
Good luck to all!

@NVM1970 not sure if ROTC carries any weight at ND. DS is NROTC to ND.

Notre Dame superscores the SAT. They do not superscore the ACT per the admissions page:

“What Standardized Tests are required?
Either the SAT or the ACT is required for application to the University of Notre Dame.

If you submit multiple SAT scores, we will superscore the tests for our evaluation. This means we will use your highest individual SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sub-scores from multiple testing dates to compute your composite score.

For first-year applicants seeking fall 2018 enrollment, the final acceptable testing dates for the SAT are:

Restrictive Early Action: November 4, 2017 (must be received by November 30, 2017)
Regular Decision: December 2, 2017 (must be received by February 28, 2018)

We will use your highest ACT composite score from a single testing date. We do not require the writing portion of the ACT.

For first-year applicants seeking fall 2018 enrollment, the final acceptable testing dates for the ACT are:

Restrictive Early Action: October 28, 2017 (must be received by November 30, 2017)
Regular Decision: February 10, 2018 (must be received by February 28, 2018) “

Did he get in? @VegasRoller

@bellevuekid unfortunately not. He knew it was next to impossible, so there was no shock.

Sorry sorry to hear that. I hope he has some other great choices!
