Hello, I am writing a post asking if any of you guys are pre-med students at the University of Alabama. I am currently a freshman attending Millikin University (small school with 2,000 in Illinois) and applied to transfer to UA, along with several other schools, for the spring semester of 2019. I was wondering how you guys like UA and if you guys are finding success in your classes? I was a pretty decent student in high school with a 30 on the ACT and a solid GPA. How do you guys like the classes at UA and are they pretty challenging?
2,000 students*
What do you want to know. I know many premed, predental, prePA, prePT, and prePharm students at Bama.
As for success in classes. Be prepared to study, read your textbook, and follow lab rubrics/rules.
Profs everywhere will test you on concepts that weren’t presented in class. That’s one way that schools weed their students.
Why would you want to leave Millikin?
