I’m currently a junior in HS and am looking at these two schools. I’m out of state for both of them, haven’t decided my major yet, but I just want to hear of anyone has any pros/cons about either of these schools. Thanks!
Do you have high stats? Look at USC money matters link for information on scholarships. You can see general score/GPA criteria for awards that give you in-state tuition rate or reduced OOS tuition which might make it more affordable. Honors college is top rated and all students get some scholarship. Both SEC so no real difference in terms of big sports environment.
If you are a junior, why don’t you just apply to them both in the fall?

Arkansas is in a college town in the Ozark mountains, while South Carolina is in a small city. See what students think of these places. You are picking a place to live as much as picking a university. For many people though it does come down to who offers the best scholarships or aid package. Make sure each university is strong in your possible majors.
Also visit if you can. If you meet requirements for usc honors note the deadlines which is mid-November
