University of California San Diego, TritonLink site [admissions]

so this is the message i got after creating the Triton Link (for Fall 2011 Admissions)

[quote]

You have successfully created your User ID and Password.

Your User ID is: blah blah blahh (numbery numbers!)

This will give you access to register for classes. To view the Enrollment and Registration Calendar for deadlines, and to register for classes using the WebReg tool, go to TritonLink.

i dont want to get my hopes up, but shouldn't UCSD have a separate site to inform us of our application?
Do they just give everyone this User ID and then for those who dont get in to hte school, they just remove their User ID?

im just curious...

thanks

yes, i got the same thing. did you see your application status? i don’t know how… :(

Mine set up fine too, but the email they sent said application status won’t be available to mid-March. I think all applicants got the email, just like for UCSC, UCSB, etc and it doesn’t mean anything. sorry

aww i thought i was special…
LOL JK

yeah i tried to figure out how to see application stats, but i guess like tzfilm said, we wont really know whats up until mid march… sigh… a long wait

That user ID will allow you to check your application status and all that. It will also stay yours if you are admitted and if you come here. That’s what I would guess.

You’re going to use the PID and password to sign into the website that allows you to check your application status. If accepted, you’re PID become your identification number as a student and will be a number you use often while at school.

You guys should stop worrying about waiting to find out. You’ll hear from your friends’ facebook statuses that colleges have announced decisions. Until then, just kick back and have fun for the rest of senior year

Well, when I went to see what happens if you click to sign up for classes it said winter 2011 classes, so may be I am winter 2011 admit. :frowning: I don’t know we will see

That’s because it’s winter 2011 right now…

Jesuis- You are right I should not worry and wait for actual decision. Thanks

1) They are still making decisions, so your TritonLink will not represent your admission decision.

2) UCSD no longer admits students to the Winter quarter.

3) If you were admitted to the Winter quarter (which you can’t be), you would be admitted to the Winter 2012 quarter. The Winter 2011 quarter started 2 weeks ago.

So yes, your decision to not worry is a wise :p
