Son accepted (yay!) but not to his first choice major (boo). He was accepted to university studies. Does anyone know how hard it is for students to transfer into or minor in Lerner?
Anyway, congrats to all who received an acceptance! To those still waiting, I know how stressful this is for you and your kids. They’ve worked so hard in such difficult times, and we want so badly for them to see their work pay off they way they hope.
Yes, D’s portal changed yesterday after a previous change last week as well. She did also receive an email about 5:20 today telling her to check her portal. Interesting to note that she never received the email others received about the admissions office being closed this week.
My daughter got notified of her acceptance last night (11/22) into the Bio program. She has 4.8W GPA, multiple AP classes and no test scores submitted.
Congratulations. My son graduated from Lerner this past May. Definitely a great program. Here’s a link to the details on how to transfer in to Lerner. Minimum GPA requirement and required courses depending on major. Restricted Majors - University of Delaware - Acalog ACMS™
Thank you so much! Not getting into Lerner sort of let the wind out of his sails a bit. I told him even if he doesn’t end up getting into it, there are other ways to benefit from Lerner with a different major. But I’m sure he will try to get into it. He really does love, love, love Delaware!
The portal for admitted students refers to future Decision Days and says, “Check your email for updates and registration.”
Has anyone received such an email? My son never got the “throwing leaves” email about Thanksgiving break, and he never got an email to check his portal prior when he was accepted. Not sure what’s going on there, although the emails seem to be hit or miss for people. I just want to make sure he doesn’t miss the info for signing up.
Was that on his portal or through an email? My son’s shows that on his portal, but there is no link for him to register. It just says to check his email, but he never got an email.
OK, maybe they just haven’t sent the email to the newest round of admits. I just want to make sure nothing weird with his email. He checks his junk folder periodically, and nothing there.
It is for kids that have been admitted to UD. You do not have the ‘accept’ your offer of admission to be able to go. (You can also go if you have accepted your offer already.)
