My daughters portal now has a note that merit wonāt be released until January, It also says honors will come out by February. I was expecting to hear on those sooner, so fyi to anyone waiting,

Anyone know how housing works? Is it beneficial to put a deposit in early? Trying to decide if we will visit in March or April.
I donāt think so, you will be able to choose traditional or suite style, but not your actual dorm. Suite style is on north campus, a bit away from the action. Traditional could be old, no a/c, no elevator, to new, really nice dorms. If in honors freshmen get the honors dorm which is very nice, but only dorms with a/c risk forced triples.

My daughter did not get in initially either but could transfer in once she had enough UD credits (did not have to be business, so she took all the GEN requirements); no problem with the transfer. The only issue is that they are the last to register, so getting classes is challenging.

Sorry, one additional question. Is the later registration spot only for before the transfer is official, or does it remain in place after they are officially in Lerner? He should be coming in with a lot of gen ed credits, so Iām hoping that would potentially move up the timeframe for him, but I guess it also depends on the major requirements needed to transfer.
It had to be UD credits. The credits from HS only counted as electives. I do not remember the exact number, but I do not think she could apply to Lerner until she completed 30 UD credits.
(2 full semester) But, each major has a bunch of ārequired classes,ā so she would look at the list and sign up for whatever classes she needed to stay on track: math, English, science, breadth courses etc
At UD, registration is based on Seniority (Seniors, then Juniorsā¦), then majors. For example, if you are an accounting major, you get the first shot even though many business majors are required to take accounting.

BTW, she loves UD, it is a great business school in a great town, and all the kids are so nice. It is not a cutthroat environment like many other business schools.

Applications for nursing arenāt due until today (12/1), so unfortunately I think we are doing to have to wait a bit longer for nursing notifications:( I am sure they wait until 12/1 to at least get them all in to review. Feels like we have been waiting forever but applications for nursing only due today!
Although early action for other majors were due 11/1 and they started sending out notification right after 11/1 so hopefully they donāt take too long for nursing notifications!
