Congrats to your daughter! Are y’all in-state? OOS here and haven’t received a decision yet

Congratulations! When did she submit her app/when was her file complete?

Out of state.

Applied 10/15. All supporting documents delivered 10/29.

Congrats to your daughter. When did her portal change prior to getting the acceptance letter?

Does anyone know if you get notified via email if you receive merit aid or does it appear somwhere in your portal or via mail?

Anyone know when accepted students receive merit scholarship information? Is this part of the initial acceptance letter?

It’s not in acceptance letter. From the past year, it mentioned 3 weeks after acceptance.

Fyi, my daughter said that there were a few acceptances in the zeemee group yesterday. Most seemed to be oos (Texas, chicago) and not the mid Atlantic area. We are from Oregon and she got in last week, so that makes some sense…Fewer kids from those areas and their chances may be higher as a result

Also a couple deferrals which surprised me.

Eesh. Scary. Do you know the stats of those who were deferred?

Nope. Daughter just said there were a few in the chat

Something strange. My S24 linked his SRAR a month ago but today the portal asked him to link his SRAR. Might have to call tomorrow

Also noted that Rutgers said the same and we had previously received a confirmation we had linked the SRAR.

Both had been changed to status = “complete” a while back

I hope all was worked out and resolved on that strange set of circumstances. All the best of luck on outcomes!

S24 application portal changed… but only slightly. Still two yellow boxes. One around, “Now that your application is complete and under review, a change to your major will not be considered again until a decision has been made.” The second is around, “not test optional (standardized testing will be reviewed).” He still is given the option to change his test status.

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference now is that the portal no longer lists his first and second choice majors.

Seriously hoping for an admission Friday. My older son is coming home from college for break that evening. I want a fully happy evening… not a mixed happy/miserable one!

Good luck! Also fyi I think last years thread said they sent out some decisions on the Wednesday before thanksgiving, but typically it’s Fridays.
