I was recently accepted to the undergraduate English Literature program at the University of Edinburgh. It'd be about 27k a year for me because I'm international (my parents are not able to pay for my college education).

I also have a full ride (tuition, room and board, books and fees, everything) at the University of Houston Honors program.

Is the difference between the two worth 27k a year? I also have grad school to think about in the future.

If your parents are not able to pay for your education, I am not sure you want to go to over 100k in debt.

I don’t believe 27k is a valid number.

I see that they are estimating 12,600 pounds for room, board and other expenses and 13,300 pounds for tuition. So technically, you are 26k in pounds which is about 40.6k in dollars.

I do suggest checking with UH to see if you can get into some UK summer programs through the honors program where the school pays for study abroad.
