I have a GRE of 311, TOEFL:96 undergrad acad :GPA 3.0
I am currently enrolled in fall 2015 program in electrical engineering in UT Arlington and I wish to take transfer in spring 2016 to UFL.
I have done two undergrad projects in VLSI(a field in electrical in which I want to major), won a prize in my university for my final year project. But I am worried about my overall grades. Do you think I stand a chance to get admission in UFL.

I read your post and figured I could at least give you a reply. I am also a transfer student (out-of-state). I applied at the beginning of August for Civil Engineering with a 3.088 gpa after two years of community college where I completed all of my critical tracking courses except for calc 3 and physic 2 (both of which I am currently taking this fall in order to transfer). Anyways, thankfully I was accepted into Civil Engineering at UF with a conditional admissions statement that I pass all of my current classes and maintain the appropriate gpa. I know the minimum requirement to apply for Civil is a 2.5 gpa. I’m not sure what it may be for Electrical, but I hope this helps and maybe you’ll get in too, just keep working hard! Your accomplishments outside of the classroom really do matter too.
