Sas gpa: 3.7(1 point for ap, .5 point for honors)
Sat: 1820
Math: 700
Verbal: 590
Writing; 530
Act: 26
Also I live in Florida and have 100 volunteer hours.</p>

UF will look not only at your composite ACT score, but also the math and science subsections specifically if you choose to major in engineering. You may want to consider testing again in an attempt to raise your score. My understanding is UF’s freshman generally have an ACT range of 28-32. Also, if you can hit the magic 29 on the ACT, you can earn a Bright Futures scholarship. Do you have any experience with computer programming? If so, that would look great on your application.
